Class Time: 6:30 pm - echo date("g:i a", strtotime($class['class_end_time'])); ?> (EST)
These six sessions offer personalized guidance to students writing feature length, narrative screenplays. Class sessions will be rigourous and challenging consisting primarily of group readings and open critiques. Students should arrive to the first class prepared to discuss the status of the screenplay concept they plan to pursue. Assignments are tailored to the needs of each student and may entail, but are not limited to, drafting 10 new screenplay pages per week and/or writing plot outlines and sequence cards. At a minimum students should expect to complete the plot outline and first act of an original narrative screenplay. If motivated a student may be able to finish the first draft of a new idea or rewrite an existing screenplay. Writers of both intermediate and advanced levels are welcome.
