Are you in the entertainment industry? Do you want to make films? Well if you’re wanting to make money while doing it, that means understanding how to SELL! The American Film Market (AFM) is one of the premier venues where buyers and sellers meet together for one week a year, and thousands of films are bought and sold.

In ONE Content-Packed Day, 3 Established Filmmakers Will Reveal Their Step-by-Step System So You Can Finally Make Your Movie And Sell It.

Whether you’re just starting out and have a script or an idea for a movie, or you have a film that is in the can, this one-day workshop is perfect for you. Development, funding, pre-production, production, post-production, and finally, sales and distribution, will all be covered.

This is an ALL DAY Filmmaking Summit! Lunch will be provided.

Over the course of the day, we are going to provide you with solid, useful and actionable tips so you can walk out knowing EXACTLY what needs to happen (and how to do it) so you can get your movie made and sold.

By the end of this workshop you will:

  • Understand how to raise funding for your film.
  • Learn the aspects of production and accurate time tables to accomplish this.
  • Look at your project from a distributor’s perspective.
  • Know how to work the markets, like AFM.

Who should attend this workshop: producers, directors, writers, actors, and anyone interested in learning the script-to-screen aspects of filmmaking.

Jason Brubaker helps filmmakers get their movies seen and selling. As you know, finding a traditional distribution deal is increasingly challenging. Nobody knows this better than Jason Brubaker. After failing to garner a traditional distribution deal for his first feature, he figured out how to market and sell his movie online.

Jason will show you how to maximize movie profits without the middle-man and discuss working the American Film Market.

SELL Your Film

All three speakers have extensive experience at AFM. From the seller’s perspective, creator’s perspective, or acquisition’s perspective, they will share their strategies for distribution. This will be an open discussion covering the following topics: How to find a sales agent. How to evaluate your distribution contracts. Release windows and how to maximize exposure. And importantly, how NOT to get screwed in the process.

Group Discussion

Following the presentation, we will provide an Q&A to the audience. This will allow YOU to get answers to your specific filmmaking questions. So make sure you come to the event with your most pressing questions!
