Founded in 1995, CineStory, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to nurturing new screenwriting talent through its annual screenwriting Retreat and Fellowship. This program is aimed at writers with a high level of craft who are ready to enter the industry.

CineStory alumni have an impressive track record of both box office and creative success. Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, past CineStory Fellows, have worked on such films as IRON MAN and COWBOYS & ALIENS, while our 2013 Fellow Patrick Tobin saw his winning script CAKE produced and directed by another past Fellowship winner Daniel Barnz.
