Seeing a story through the lens of another is the heart of the Firereel Film Festival. Our mission is to champion story-tellers in every stage of the creative process. From beginner to novice, we provide the opportunity for story-tellers to showcase their talent, refine their craft, and entertain others through the lens of a filmmaker.

In its 4th year, the Firereel Film Festival draws a crowd of 1200+ annually, and is the largest Film Festival in Northern California. We invite the filmmakers to arrive in style and walk the Red Carpet. Our evening Oscar-esqe Award's Show is an all out celebration of cinema. It combines the best films  from the festival with live comedy and crazy costume changes and is sure to entertain. All of this is followed by an after party in beautiful Downtown Redding.

We welcome submissions from anywhere in the world and are excited to see what this year’s participants have in store for us!
