Mark Robertson's E-DEN Places Again in Competition

Mark Robertson's new teen SF screenplay E-DEN has just chalked up its third recent competition placing. Currently, the script has reached the semi-finals of Table Read My Sceenplay - London, while the script's previous competition placings include Top 75 in the Launch Pad Features Script Compeition, and an "Honourable Mention" runner-up place in the Screenplay Festival Screenwriting Contest.

Mark Robertson's E-DEN takes "Honourable Mention" in Screenplay Festival

Mark Robertson's new teen SF screenplay E-DEN has just secured a win in the Screenplay Festival screenwriting competition, taking an "honourable mention" place in the comp's "Family Movie" category. It's the script's second competition placing now, having recently earned a top 75 place in the Tracking Board's Launch Pad Features competition. The UK writer is delighted with the script's success so far.

Indomitable Entertainment Joins Mark Robertson and his Ghost Club

Executive producers Indomitable Entertainment (SOUL SURFER, SECRET LIVES OF DORKS) have now boarded TV drama project CHARLES DICKENS'S GHOST CLUB. The one-hour pilot script and series bible were recently optioned by Eclectic Pictures (OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN, LOVELACE) as a direct result of the ISA's promotion of the project and its UK writer Mark Robertson. Eclectic and Indomitable will now move forward together on the series, which the writer has described as a "Victorian Ghostbusters".

MARK ROBERTSON'S "GHOST CLUB" REACHES ANOTHER SEMI-FINAL

Eclectic Pictures Joins Mark Robertson and His Ghost Club

ECLECTIC PICTURES (Olympus Has Fallen, Lovelace) has optioned UK writer Mark Robertson's TV Pilot CHARLES DICKENS'S GHOST CLUB. The script, described by the writer as a "Victorian Ghostbusters", recently achieved top ten in the 2014 Final Draft Big Break Competition, and won third place in the 2014 Screencraft TV Pilot Launch Contest. ECLECTIC PICTURES Development Executive Kyle Cooper discovered the 1-hour TV Pilot through the International Screenwriters' Association development program.

MARK ROBERTSON'S GHOST CLUB TAKES THIRD PLACE IN SCREENCRAFT PILOT LAUNCH

UK writer Mark Robertson's 1-hour TV pilot script CHARLES DICKENS'S GHOST CLUB has taken "bronze" in the 2014 Screencraft Pilot Launch TV Script Contest. The script -  a "Victorian Ghostbusters" with a female protagonist and a "Doctor Who-ish" vibe - impressed industry judges Ben Simpson (HBO), Ari Lubet (3Arts Entertainment) and acclaimed script consultant Jen Grisanti to secure third place in a field of more than 1300 entries.
