Douglas short story, “Well, Haruki, Looks Like it’s Just You and Me, Kid,” has advanced to the semi-finals in ScreenCraft’s 2015 Short Story Contest. Winners and finalists to be announced soon. Daniel has previously adapted “Haruki” into a short screenplay entitled “Richter’s War.” The sci-fi World War II hardboiled detective script has previously won or placed in multiple contests during 2015.

Douglas, was an official selection for the 2016 Irvine International Film Festival and 2016 Albuquerque Film Festival. The sci-fi World War Two hardboiled detective story has previously won or placed in multiple contests during 2015. The Irvine and Albuquerque festivals will be held in January 2016.
