Biography

I've been told that my Southern accent comes across in my writing. It's not something I do, consciously, but it's also something I don't try to hide.

If you want to hear my accent for yourself, I created and narrate a podcast, Stories That Suck, to showcase my writing. It's available on most podcast platforms.

My short horror story "Cabin Fever" appears in the JournalStone anthology Warped Words for Twisted Minds (2010). Several of my scripts have advanced in screenplay competitions.

I spent most of my life in Central Georgia (USA state), living in Savannah for almost 25 years. I now live in Sacramento, CA. My Southern upbringing continues to color my writing, giving me a style that's unique but accessible.

Biography

I'm an American screenwriter who specializes in horror feature films, but I have written one-hour TV show pilots and film noir features. I also write fiction and fantasy. When it comes to horror I'm not a big fan of excessive gore or violence -- I prefer something a bit more subtle and more quietly frightening. Though I will indulge in some gore if I think it's necessary for the story. I've been told that my Southern accent comes across in my writing.
