I have a production company with which I have produced and directed an award winning feature film and 6 short films (some of which are also award-winning and/or official selections at film festivals). Currently we are seeking a micro-budget feature-length screenplay to produce and possibly direct while we have some other larger projects in development. 7. I have hit a dead end--and I don't like that. I have written my first screenplay and have had several producers interested. One even enough to ask for a re-write before passing, although he, and others, have said that the instrinsic story is very marketable, especially as a MOW. The problem is, the story is about my own fight for clean air and I believe that I'm letting the plot move the main character too much. It's too bulky, and needs considerable work.

I need someone who can be objective, who has more experience than I do, and who has contacts to get this script into the right hands. But most of all someone who is passionate and wants to help me share this story.

To read about me and my fight check out http://healthychild.org/blog/comments/meet_our_2009_mom_on_a_mission_shelby_rodriguez/

If my story hits a nerve for you and you want to work with me please send an email to beeshel@yahoo.com

Pay info: Negotiable--will share writing credit and profit when sold.

Parkour, or Freerunning, is the physical discipline of training to overcome any obstacle within one's path (from park benches, to walls, or entire buildings) by adapting one's movements to the environment. It is usually expressed in film in a chase scene, such as in the rooftop sequence in "Casino Royale." Early Jackie Chan films or Tony Jaa films feature elements of parkour throughout city streets.

  37. I am Mark Ketola a.k.a Jack Skyyler Producer/Director of the feature-length films: “Somethings Lost” and “Isabel” (www.JackSkyyler.com). I have an offer from a low-budget producer who will finance my next film providing I can find the correct script.

The script must be an action/drama script, preferably staring a tough-guy/schemer. The climax of the film must be solved by violence. The story must have meaning, but it can't be politically correct. Vigilantes (like Boondock Saints), thieves (like Reservoir Dogs), and dis-disgruntled old conservatives (like No Country for Old Men) would all be interesting politically incorrect heroes for this story. To make things more complicated the story must get into the human psyche I'd love to see this relate to the schemer aspect of the lead. Finally the film must be possible on a low budget. If this script requires a mall to be blown up, it's not the script for the film. Finally, the film can be either contemporary or western.

If you have a script you think may fit the bill please send a synopsis, treatment, over-view, something for me to skim: me@JackSkyyler.com

Finally, payment will most-likely be some combination of a small payment on acceptance of the script and a percentage of profits from the film.

  38. Romantic comedy screenplay in dire need of enhancement and improvement. I need 1 on 1 sessions with a proven writer to help polish this screenplay. Pleased send me some of your work and your rates to the email listed above. Thank you. will.barnes08@gmail.com

  49. Do you have a story of being helped by someone you didn’t know? Have you been the “Knight in Shining Armor” yourself? Or have you been helped by a kind act by someone you did know, a friend, a family member, maybe just an acquaintance. In either case, we want to hear from you. We are searching for these kind of stories.

The Miracle of Kindness is intended to be a collection of stories, told by regular folks, just like you, that chronicle random acts of help, courage, influence and perseverance. These will be stories about how friends and strangers alike came to the aid of a person in need, when no other help was available. They will be stories of how the human race reacts to tragedy, misfortune, even catastrophe. These will be stories about all of us at our finest hour.

Email back to this address with your story. Write no more than three paragraphs. If we find that it fits into our vision of the book, we will email back and setup a more in-depth phone interview. If your story makes it into the book, you will be paid $150, not bad for three paragraphs and a ten minute interview. ann@videoloca.com

At a time when people seem to be looking after only themselves, when events conspire to dim the human story, it’s time we illuminate, and commemorate, the everyday folks who truly care for others.
