CAN I SUBMIT MORE THAN 10 PAGES?
Yes. You can submit 10 pages...or your full script.
HOW CAN I GET YOU TO READ MY ENTIRE SCRIPT?
Submit your screenplay for a "full read" with Executive Level Notes & Scores...and every word on every page will be read by multiple judges.
IF I WIN THE CONTEST, DO I STILL RETAIN COPYRIGHT?
Absolutely. You will retain all copyright, title, and interest in your material.
CAN I SEND IN MY WHOLE SCRIPT 10 PAGES AT A TIME?
No. Only one submission per script.
CAN I ENTER MY 10 PAGES MORE THAN ONCE IN THE SAME CONTEST PERIOD?
No. You can send in the same script pages (hopefully revised/improved) in any subsequent 30-day contest period.
CAN I TALK TO OR MEET THE JUDGES?
Not during the contest period. The judges are private individuals and working professionals with busy daily schedules, part of which involves reading contest script materials. The best way to meet a senior judge to discuss your script is in the "Line Notes & Live Consultation" entry option. Those consultations are 30-90 minute live Zoom Meetings in which a seasoned WGA writer-producer goes through your script page-by-page. It's just like sitting across the desk from a studio producer in a professional script meeting...which is the best and fastest way to bring your work up to the truly professional (and marketable) level.
HOW SOON AFTER THE CONTEST ENDS ARE WINNERS NOTIFIED?
Within 7 working days. Cash payments are made as soon as winners are announced.
IS A TITLE PAGE REQUIRED FOR MY 10 PAGE ENTRY?
Yes. Every submission must include the script Title, the name of the Author, and the Author's email address.
CAN I SUBMIT TO THE CONTEST IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE U.S.?
Yes, of course. Many of our winning screenplays have come from writers living in foreign countries. Your pages must be submitted in English.
CAN I SUBMIT PAGES FROM AN ANIMATION SCRIPT?
Yes. We've had several winners writing in the animation genre.
WILL MY TV PILOT BE READ BY SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE IN TV?
Absolutely. Several of our Senior Judges have serious track records pitching and selling TV pilots. All TV material is judged by those experts.
CAN I SUBMIT THE SAME MATERIAL TO ANOTHER CONTEST TOO??
Yes. Your entry into The Wiki Screenplay Contest is non-exclusive. You have the right to submit it to any other contest concurrently.
IF I WIN, WILL MY NAME BE MADE PUBLIC?
We publicize the identity of Finalists and Winners.
IF I HAVE REVISED PAGES OR A NEW DRAFT, CAN I SUBMIT IT?
Because we're the world's fastest screenplay contest, the pages you submit go immediately into the hands of the analysts and judges. Once they begin work, no re-submissions are accepted. Revisions should simply be submitted as a new contest entry.
WHAT FILE FORMATS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Submissions must be in PDF file format, with the title ONLY indicated in the PDF file name (do not write "10 pages" or anything else in the file name). Submissions as Final Draft or Movie Magic Screenwriter files will not be read, scored, or judged.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Once your script pages are submitted to us, they immediately become the sole focus of a professional reader-analyst and our Senior Judging Panel. Because of those professional obligations and administrative costs associated with the careful handling of all submitted materials, refunds are not possible.
Screenplay contest material submitted to The Wiki Screenplay Contest is accepted via electronic submission only.
Submissions must be in PDF file format, the title ONLY indicated in the PDF file name (do not write "10 pages" or anything else in the file name). Submissions as Final Draft or Movie Magic Screenwriter files will not be read, scored, or judged.

All material submitted to these screenplay contests must be original, and all rights must be wholly owned by the writer(s).
Screenplays and scripts must be submitted by the credited writer. Screenplays and scripts written by writing teams must be submitted by one of the writers, with consent of the other(s).
All writers must be credited on title page.
If a screenwriting team is chosen as a winner, prizes will be given to the screenwriter submitting the project. Each team is responsible for dividing or sharing the prize money, with no direction from The Wiki Screenplay Contest administrators, staff, or judges.
Once submitted, material is promptly assigned to analysts and judges and reading/scoring begins. Revisions, rewrites, addenda, or substitutions of either corrected pages or new drafts of the entered screenplay or script material require a separate entry.
