SERVICE DESCRIPTION

IN-DEPTH FEEDBACK:

I dissect every increment of story and story execution, character and character relationships, dialogue, pace, tone consistency, structure, and marketability.

I highlight the areas that triumph and those that need attention or clarity. In those latter areas, I offer both clear reasoning for the critique and solutions to remedy the issues.

HOW IT WORKS:
Send your script (in PDF only) through the ISA ORDER SERVICE page. I will email you a personal confirmation, and I will also let you know the date by which you will have your coverage returned.

Once returned, you are free to contact me with any questions about any notes received. I won't just disappear on you :)

Karen Lukesh

My feature scripts, TV pilots, shorts, and stage plays have garnered numerous writing awards in contests such as the American Movie Awards, Gimme Credit, BlueCat, Page International, Final Draft Big Break, and the Nicholls Fellowship. Full list of awards can be viewed on my IMDB page. I've had scripts produced and optioned and currently have several projects in various stages of development.

In addition to my own spec work, I have done script coverage and consultations for production companies and have been hired for ghostwriting and re-writing assignments for indie production companies and up-and-coming spec writers, many of whom have since sold and optioned scripts and placed in contests.

My further background in film and stage training and performing, directing, and producing gives me a keen eye during script consulting to recognize where story and character development, dialogue, and script pace and tone are/are not hitting their marks.
