Phillip E. Hardy is a creative maverick who can craft compelling stories in every genre. He is a ten-time optioned screenwriter. He has had several projects shopped by producers, including Steven Roeder, Sean Hoessli, Zane W. Levitt, and has signed a shopping agreement with de Passe Jones Entertainment. His work has been in front of Tyler Perry Studios, Paramount Studios, Ridley Scott, Martin Scorsese, William Morris Endeavor, Robert Zemeckis, etc. Phillip recently signed an option agreement with Angus Benton for his horror/thriller Purgatory Station, which is scheduled to film in the fall of 2022. Angus Benfield also has optioned the biopic screenplay Dirty Real, about writer Charles Bukowski. Finally, Phillip signed an option agreement with Director Marlin Darrah to write the film Madagascar Gold.
Phillip has won and placed at over 250 film festivals and contests, including Page International, Austin Film Festival, WeScreenplay Screenplay, Shore Scripts, Screencraft, Beverly Hills Film Festival, Bluecat Screenplay, Storypros, and Harlem International Film Festival. In addition, Phillip was recently selected from over 100 applicants to write a treatment for an established filmmaker.
