AARON MASON is a writer of novels and screenplays. Residing in Los Angeles, he primarily writes fantasy, horror, and sci-fi, but dabbles in family friendly projects (both animation and live action) as well. Aaron loves to blend genres, and many of his projects try to stretch conventional tropes by splicing genres together. He co-wrote the WW2 action/horror film "TANK 231", about a King Tiger tank crew attacked in the frozen Russian steppes by a vengeful supernatural entity, currently in development with the producers of Alien, Blade Runner, and the Godzilla franchise. "ICE FIRE" is a indigenous-American fantasy epic (Clash of the Titans meets Clan of the Cave Bear meets Apacalypto) that takes place during the last great Ice Age in a fantasy North America. The supernatural thriller "STILL, SMALL VOICE" finds a disgraced psychic cop trying to stop an assassin who can weaponize the violent memories locked inside cold case murder weapons to kill with impunity. His period-horror script, "THE RIVEN TIDE" is a terrifying blend of sci-fi and body-horror aboard a doomed whaling vessel in the early 1800's Pacific Ocean (think Moby Dick meets The Thing) that won the ISA 2024 Grand Prize for Emerging Screenwriters Sci-Fi & Fantasy competition.
