Biography

London-based and from a working class background, I became the first member of my family to attend university then completed a Master of the Arts in Creative Writing and have since written mainly for TV, film, the stage and comedy. A number of my scripts have been successful in various worldwide scriptwriting competitions.

In 2018 I joined the committee of London Comedy Writers to script read and edit the work of others as well as helping to produce sold out stage shows Shuffle/Play and Sketchley Park along with popular audio sitcom podcast the Bureau of Lost Things which I co-wrote. I have also worked as a Script Reader for Script Angel and currently for Industrial Scripts.

My romantic comedy feature Flaming Barrels of Love has been a Golden Script Competition Finalist (2018), made the 2018/19 UK Film Festival Feature Script Competition Final 50, was a Top 50 Finalist in the Your Script Produced! Competition (2019), has been an Official Selection for the Lit Laughs International Comedy Festival (Winter 2020) and a Quarter-Finalist in the WriteMovies Romance and Comedy Awards (2021).
