Alison's first story was about a hermit crab in fourth grade. Since then, she has continued to imagine new stories, time travel, and study the art of filmmaking. Originally on track to be a producer, she has a unique blend of creativity and business when it comes to a new script.
She married the love of her life and moved to London where she produced a short film, It's Not Custard (SXSW 2019) and worked as a producer's assistant.
Upon returning to the U.S., she found herself in a tiny, mountain town, isolated and very quiet. Writing was the natural next step for her to pursue.
Her first screenplay, THE FLASHLIGHT FARMER, was a finalist for the Richmond International Film Festival and a second rounder for Sundance Labs. Her second script, A HITCHHIKER'S GUIDES, was a semi-finalist for the Filmmatic Awards and placed in the top 15% for the Nicholl.
Her passion lies in old Hollywood, feature biopics, and historical drama series. Alison's newest pilot projects encapsulate that in 1940s Hollywood with THE HOLLYWOOD CANTEEN and in 1880s Seattle where a brothel owner threatens to uproot the Pacific Northwest in MADAME OF FIRE AND VICE.
She hopes to find representation and work on stories that inspire.
