Allen Mummert is a novelist and screenwriter from Philadelphia, PA who's mastered the transmedia storytelling approach during his tutelage under renowned story guru John Truby. His next detective novel, The Mockingbird's Cage, is slated to be published by Prescient Press in November 2024. Additionally, he's currently developing a Science-Fiction/Detective TV series under the guidance of Josh Billig, head writer of K-Drama Dramaworld. In addition to applying his background in Philosophy and Psychology to offer a uniquely humanistic approach to storytelling, he presents a genre-diverse portfolio with works across several mediums.Always striving to better his craft, he's currently a member of Truby's Writers Studio, where he works with other writers to develop transmedia projects including Novel, Feature Screenplay, and Television Pilot, and he's also a student of the David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts.
