If you frankensteined Stephen King, Virginia Woolf and a Brazilian horror fanatic, it would be Ana Peres. Raised by two scientists and generations of women who experience supernatural phenomena, this blend of science and faith is deeply integrated into who Ana is—and in her writing. From murderous monsters to the horrors of deranged minds, Ana dares to look right into the abyss of painful circumstances; everyone is afraid of something.  Ana's horror feature film, LEGADO, is currently in post-production—about three generations of Latina women who cleanse homes of malevolent spirits. She graduated from UCLA's Professional Program in Writing for Television and wrote and directed three short films in USC's Horror Analysis & Film Production summer program last year. When she is not writing, you can find her reading books or exorcising her demons in a kickboxing class.
