Avery Robinson Rouda began her career in show business where all good Midwesterners begin their careers in show business: the theater! After following her passions for the performing arts to Stagedoor Manor, then to The International Film Institute of New York, Avery finally arrived at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Screenwriting. Avery Rouda’s first film, Dream Catcher, has been an Official Selection of over 30 film festivals. Her award-winning screenplays have placed in contests like the Final Draft Big Break Contest, the Screencraft Pilot Launch Contest, and the Creative Screenwriting in Animation contest. She is repped by Gotham Group and Nelson Davis LLP.
