I'm a writer, director, and journalist based in New York and Los Angeles. My recent work has been on the one-hour series drama pilots, SECRET AND CONFIDENTIAL, WEIMAR, and IVAN'S HAMMER. Each of these pilots has placed in an array of high profile competitions including The Launch Pad Pilots Competition, the PAGE Awards, Cinequest, Emerging Screenwriters, ISA Fast Track, and ScreenCraft's Pilot Launch and Screenwriting Fellowships. In 2015 WEIMAR was named the Pilot Grand Prize winner in the Table Read My Screenplay Austin contest. This award put me in touch with the team at ISA who have helped me generously ever since to promote my work and realize my goals.
I was born and raised in Massachusetts, where my dad taught cinema history classes and my older brother shot and edited Super 8 films on equipment he built himself. Watching him work fascinated me, but, not being as brilliant with technology as he is, I chose to concentrate on writing. This path brought me to USC's Graduate Screenwriting Program. USC opened me up to the great landscape of television, and I have geared my craft toward this medium primarily. In the years since film school I have written and produced over a hundred shorts, promotional films, and interstitials for cable television, but my highest ambition is to create an original drama and see it through to series. In this pursuit the support of ISA has been vital, and with their help I hope to take great steps forward in the years ahead.
