Buck Rivers is a writer and VFX Producer living in the New York City area. He has a degree in Producing for VFX and Animation and has worked as a VFX Coordinator on the award winning short, Me Time by Iyabo Boyd. He works as a Ghostwriter and has written a number of short screenplays that have gone on to become successful films. He co-hosts a Black interest podcast called Bantucentric and is the head of the Bantucentric brand.  "I write to change minds and hopefully change lives. That all sounds grandiose, but at the end of the day, all it takes to change a mind sometimes is to entertain. I aim to show people things that they haven't seen before, and make them consider possibilities that weren't previously on their radar. To me, that amounts to writing a story that introduces someone to a new culture, a new idea, or even just a new world.  My writing spans a multitude of different genres, but I specialize in fantasy and horror toned stories. Whether the story is comedy, romantic, or dramatic in nature, I tend to want to throw some monsters or spirits in there.
