Carol is a multi-award winning, optioned writer. Besides the awards listed in her MY SUCCESS, the Greater Philadelphia Film Office awarded her thriller script, SAFE HAVEN (now titled: ON GUARD) a Set-In-Philly Best Screenplay prize and also recognized MERMAIDS OF MEDIA, PENNSYLVANIA as a 2019 Finalist (top 5) script.
The International Family Film Festival granted her three Best Screenplay awards, one in Drama for LIVING AGAIN and two in Comedy for BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR (now titled #FlashedFiction) and THE DEVIL'S DUE.
Carol is working with Nancy McKeon (The Facts of Life) to bring VICTORY LANE, a 1hr family drama to television. Carol adapted her screenplay, FIRST NIGHT into a novel and wrote a sequel. Carol has taught Screenwriting at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA and Screenwriting and Writing for TV at Rowan University in NJ. She served on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Writers' Conference for ten years. Previously she was Development Manager at Nationlight Productions.
Carol holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Rosemont College.
