chandra thomas is a writer-performer, originally from New York. She was most recently Executive Story Editor on the single-cam comedy, TACOMA FD. Previously, chandra staffed on the Emmy-nominated farewell season of the multi-cam hit, MOM, as well as a new adult-animated comedy series for Amazon. She also recently sold an hourlong drama to Paramount TV Studios. chandra was the sole comedy writer in the 2020 CBS Writers’ Program and is an award-winning playwright. As an actor, her credits include LABOR DAY, 9-1-1, LAW & ORDER: SVU, BLUE BLOODS. She earned BA degrees in Theatre and Sociology from Vanderbilt University, and holds an MFA from Columbia University. chandra’s the proud daughter of immigrants, has gleefully lived all over the country and around the world, and absolutely loves baseball.
