Biography

Danny Hogan (they/them) is a scientist turned screenwriter from San Diego, CA. After receiving their MFA from Loyola Marymount University, where they won the graduate showcase for their writing, Danny went on to put their penchant for exploration, science, and all things uncharted to use as a producer for National Geographic TV. Since then, Danny has worked as a Writers' Assistant and Script Coordinator on numerous scripted shows, including GOSSIP GIRL (HBOM), and Laverne Cox's upcoming comedy, CLEAN SLATE (Amazon). Danny is a Paramount Writers Mentoring Program finalist, a winner of numerous top-tier writing contests, and has developed original scripted projects with Zero Gravity, Zoic Studios, & Intrigue Entertainment. They were recently named an ISA Top 25 screenwriter to watch. Danny writes mind-bending genre fare about the struggle between individuals and the systems around them.
