Biography

Chosen as one of ISA’s Top 25 Writers To Watch in 2019, Diane remains busy working on her ninth screenplay. She has screened her directing work at the DGA, garnered awards and laurels including: an ATHE Award, Cinema At The Edge, L-Dub Film Festivals, Global Shorts, The Taiwan International Queer Film Festival and Cote d’ Azure Web Fest. As part of the Women In Film PSA program, Diane worked as a writer/director. A PSA she wrote won an Aurora Award. Her screenplays have placed in various festivals. “Danny Danielle” was screened at the Directors Guild for the 48Film Project. The drama, “Wonder And Lightning.” won the ISA’s fellowship to Stowe Story Lab. The comedy, “Dr. Jackie & Ms. Heidi,” won Diane a scholarship to the Rocaberti Writers Retreat in France and was a finalist for Stage 32 Feature Comedy Contest. Presently Diane and a fantastic team are celebrating the short film “Trust” Diane wrote and directed which won best drama, best lead actress, best lead actor, best production design, best director and best drama short at various festivals.  wwwthefilm-trust.com
