It earned him Best Director at the Austin Indie Fest, and numerous others awards and accolades. His 9-year-old daughter not only starred in APPLE, but she also composed and performed the haunting theme song)
Douglas is now in preproduction of his next short, MILLY & MILO, a trans gender love story between two Vietnam vets reuniting late in life, negotiating the adversities of age, race, and gender.
