As a writer with Asperger’s/high functioning autism, Dylan thrives on using his neurodiverse perspective to create intricate character-driven arcs in the middle of action-packed stories. He struggled with interpersonal relationships throughout his childhood, but as he went into young adulthood, he met a diversity of people who finally understood him and helped him to better understand himself, showing him the joy in strong relationships. Therefore, he loves to construct dynamic, complicated relationships among well-rounded characters, using high stakes and external obstacles to deepen each character. After graduating with a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Central Oklahoma in May 2018, Dylan went on to do a variety of screenwriting as he first wrote educational scripts for Rozzy Learning Company. Soon after, Sage Hill Publishing also began releasing his space opera novel trilogy, SURVIVAL DARK TIMES, which reached #2 on various Amazon bestseller lists. After co-writing an animated feature for Chakrra Films in 2019, he became the Head Writer of short film studio Hollywood Casting & Film/The Slate in 2020, co-running their short film writer's room and working on over two dozen projects, many of which have been produced. One of his own shorts, A FATHER'S DUTY, got Runner Up for Best Short in the Fatherhood Image Film Festival.
