Janet Lynn Carey (Shaw). I was born in NewFoundland, Canada. My father was in the US Air Force.  I have worked in Movies, Television, Commercials and a Music video.  I have worked behind the scenes as a Assistant Director with Lee Gartrell on Star Trek: The Romulan Wars and as a Directors Assistant with Kiarra Bartheemy on Getaway. I have worked as a Production Assistant on many other productions.  I also worked as a stand in for Camryn Manheim, Chris McGinn, Illena Douglas and others.  I worked behind the scenes and as Dr. Jewel Cohen on Star Trek: The Romulan Wars web series. I have attended Dr. Rick Landry's workshops.  I love working on set. But my true passion is writing.  I am a screenwriter and I am also writing a blog. All of my screenplays are registered with the WGA.  I have written a few shorts, two Features and a television Pilot. I hope to work with you soon.
