Biography

My goal is to script riveting socially relevant stories that create memorable and meaningful films.

I was born and raised in New York City, by a Puerto Rican mother and German-American father. An avid reader as a child, stories cultivated my sense of wonder and imagination. Writing was a natural progression.

Being biracial and multicultural made me privy to opposing sides of the racial divide. But living on the border between two worlds means you never quite fit into either. The upside is it made me a keen observer of human behavior.

While at Hunter College (CUNY), I took classes in Theater Arts, Dance, and Film, including the fabled course that introduced students to the master of the craft himself - Orson Welles.

While at SJSU, I took courses in both Journalism and Advertising - torn between Creative Writing and Investigative Reporting.

I’m currently a freelance MarCom Writer and Video Producer by day, and a free-thinking, mind-speaking, lover of laughter and life in my off hours.
