Biography

Jennifer Anne Martin adores Abbott & Costello films, counts October as her favorite month, has a healthy hoard of notebooks, and LOVES dogs.  As for writing, she's drawn to stories that champion an underdog and showcase a strong protagonist that doesn't settle. She enjoys writing kids animation, family adventure stories, and romantic comedies, both TV and features. She holds her MFA in TV and Screenwriting, and has placed in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, Final Draft's Big Break competition, and Stowe Story Labs, among others. She also placed in the top 15% in the Nicholl Fellowships in 2023. In her previous life, she worked as the Operations Manager of an investment advisory firm and studied theater in undergrad. In addition to writing, she works as a script supervisor on commercials and TV movies. She currently resides in the beauty that is Michigan with her husband, Shane, and their cute pug/Boston puppy, Enzo.
