I'm Jesse Welch and I'm a passionate screenwriter who loves to craft mysterious and compelling narratives that have strong emotional centers to them. In addition to my degree, I've been on a journey of learning from the best. I wrote a paper recognized by the Religious Communication Association (RCA) about Christopher Nolan's films. I also was a background actor on the best picture winning Oppenheimer, getting to see him work up close. My eagerness to learn from the greats has led to success in writing, producing, and directing my own projects. I did that first with my short film Spirit (2022) which received the Platinum Award at the NM Mindfield Film Festival. It is now streaming on a Roku channel. Now, I'm directing the feature film Viewpoint based on my original concept. It currently has interest from Tubi and has attracted high profile talent. Excited to craft more stories with you!
