I tend toward pessimism. Not that I'm a downer all the time. But since I was young I've had an awareness that life is difficult, and is likely to remain that way. Is the world getting better or worse? Some days it's hard to tell. There's a lot of fear -- fear of global wars, climate change, Covid, of what might happen if we don't start doing a better job of taking care of this place, and each other. Fears that are founded in reality. But... despite my pessimism, I can't shake the fact that no matter how bad we screw things up, no matter how dark things get, there is always Light. Something rescues us, gives us a reason to go on. To believe things will get better. Is it nature? Each other. The Divine? Everyone has their own answer. But what is undeniable is that it seems to be grounded in Love. I write features and hour-long TV. I'm open to any genre, but so far have gravitated toward Drama, Thriller, Sci-fi, & Comedy. But no matter the genre or medium, I always attempt to infuse my stories with Humor, and above all, Heart. If that's your thing, feel free to take a look at my work.
