Kat Croft is a director, writer and producer who tells the stories of fiercely independent characters. She is a Sundance Institute Lab Fellow and her latest project, Native Sisters, is a doc-series that follows two Diné (Navajo) sisters on their quest around the world to meet the most badass, innovative indigenous women on the planet.
Kat's most recent comedy short, that she directed, Mila and Mimi Too, premiered as an official selection of HBO'S Women in Comedy Festival and won The Spy Who Dumped Me Female Storytellers Contest sponsored by Lionsgate and Imagine Entertainment. Her debut short film, The Detail, a story cast and crewed with Special Operations Veterans, premiered to a sold-out crowd at Cucalorus Festival.
Kat also has two unscripted shows in development with Trifecta Entertainment and is a BlueCat Screenplay semi-finalist as a co-writer.
Kat got her start in film and television in the art departments of Dawson's Creek, New Best Friend and HBO's Iron-Jawed Angels.
