Kay Stephens is a Maine-based journalist, author, and screenwriter who is a Gen Xer, but most definitely not a Karen. Her debut lobstering novel, The Ghost Trap, (Leapfrog Press, 2009) was turned into an independent feature film in 2023 and will premiere at multiple film festivals in 2024. She additionally wrote the script and served as an executive producer on the shoot.
