As an aspiring comedy feature writer, I draw inspiration from esteemed screenwriters such as Tina Fey, Rob McElhenney, and Mindy Kaling, while also infusing my narratives with elements of my own hopes, fears, and embarrassing moments. My passion lies in crafting humorous, female-centered screenplays that follow out-of-touch protagonists on transformative journeys of self-discovery, often alongside unlikely companions who forge unexpected friendships. Combining the charm of early 2000s teen comedy with the dark humor reminiscent of 'It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' my writing style aims to elicit both laughter and inspiration through its charming yet borderline unwell characters and the hysterical obstacles they must overcome to reach their goals.
