Lindsay Kamikawa is a Chinese and Japanese American writer from Mission Viejo, California. She currently is developing her feature with David Oyelowo’s Yoruba Saxon, and has previously developed shows with Sugar23, Josh Berman’s Osprey Productions, and Will Yun Lee's Seoul Street. Lindsay has worked within the development teams at Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin’s Free Association, Jon Avnet and Rodrigo Garcia’s Indigenous Media, and Gale Anne Hurd’s Valhalla Motion Pictures, and was a showrunner’s assistant on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She is a 2024 ISA Diversity Initiative Writer and was a semi-finalist in the 2020 Walt Disney Writing Program. Her scripts have advanced in a variety of national competitions, including the PAGE Awards, Austin Film Festival, and the MACRO Episodic Lab in partnership with Lena Waithe and Eva Longoria. She has a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA.
