I’m a retired chiropractor living in Salem, Oregon who took up screenwriting several years ago and have been constantly honing my craft by attending numerous writing seminars and online classes, submitting my scripts to prominent screenplay contests, paying script consultants for professional coverage, and reading as many award-winning scripts as I can get my hands on.
I have personally written around a dozen scripts and a short that have all either won or were finalists in several top screenplay contests. I recently signed shopping agreements with producers on two of my pilot scripts. And my crime/mystery "Final Words" was optioned by Ed Hansen of The Edward Hansen Company ("9 1/2 Weeks", "Robin Hood", "Bikini Car Wash", "Wooly Boys", "Hell's Belles"), went through development and was headed to production when Mr. Hansen died of cancer and his production company closed. The rights to “Final Words” have now reverted back to me and it is available for option/production again.
