Marcelo Floriao, a Columbia graduate, began his career as a freelance screenwriter, collaborating with Hollywood giants like Paramount, Warner, and Disney. He had the privilege of working alongside acclaimed producer Lindsay Doran, an Oscar nominee and Bafta winner for "Sense and Sensibility." Marcelo's talents extend beyond writing; he also ventured into production, creating "Now Boarding," a film celebrated at twelve international festivals. More recently, he served as a consultant for the esteemed Oscar and Bafta-winning producer, Daniel Dreifuss, known for "All Quiet on the Western Front." Floriao’s international upbringing, fluent in six languages, brings a unique outsider's perspective to Hollywood, offering a fresh and humanistic take on storytelling with a hint of irony. His work pays homage to timeless classics, reinvented through a 21st-century lens, revealing his distinct vision of humanity.
