Mary Ann Koenig is a writer and filmmaker in a variety of media platforms. She directed, wrote, and co-produced the feature documentary, A Bond Unbroken, the story of Vietnam War–era Navy SEALs reunited with their combat interpreter after 45 years. With James M. Hawes she co-authored Cold War Navy SEAL, published by Skyhorse. Two 2021 scripts were semi-finalists in ISA’s Emerging Screenwriters initiative. Top 25 out of 4,500 entries. She is a finalist in ISA’s Virtual Pitch Challenge. She has a BA in history from Metropolitan University London, and a master’s from Columbia University.
