Matthew J. Kaplan is a writer, director, producer, actor, and musician. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and still lives there with his two cats, Clementine and Bumpy.  His award-winning short film It's Time for Tea (2019) is currently playing in film festivals throughout the world. Upcoming works include the feature horror-comedy Zombie Extra, the live-action television projects Handbasket and Reggie & Reinhardt, and the animated series Matty & Patty.
