I have always wanted to tell stories. Whether it was creative writing at school or setting up movie scenes with my action figures, I wanted to excite, entertain and inspire people. In the last few years I’ve dedicated a serious amount of time to learning the craft of screenwriting. It has not been easy. I didn’t come from a film background; I didn’t study film or writing at college. Born and raised in the UK and of mixed Asian and Arab heritage, at times it felt like an impossible dream to write films for a living, being a million miles away from Hollywood. In the last year I have written three pilots, three feature scripts and two short scripts that were produced. I am, unabashedly, a genre fan. Sci-fi, horror, thriller, you name it; I love to delve into the weirdness of it all, as you’ll see from my scripts.
