Pat was chosen for the ISA ‘Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch’ in 2018 and is an alumni of the ISA Fast Track Fellowship Programme 2017. Pat is short-listed for the Bell Media TV Programme in 2021.
His feature biopic FASTER THAN BULLETS won the Writers Guild of Canada Jim Burt Prize 2019, the Script Lab Screenplay Competition 2020, and was Creative Screenwriting Magazine’s Unique Voices 2020 biopic genre winner. Pat recently reached the 2nd round pitching stage at Netflix with family animation script GALAPAGOS. He has had scripts place in Final Draft Big Break, Academy Nichol, Screencraft, Slamdance, and Atlanta competitions.
Pat is currently in pre-production on UK independent movie GENUINE FAKES. Shooting in spring 2023, it stars Alex Kingston, Derek Jacobi, Celia Imrie, Colin Morgan, Tara Fitzgerald and Oscar-nominee Peter Firth.
Produced work includes his gritty, seminal movie AWAYDAYS which opened the London Film Festival and chiller WHEN THE LIGHTS WENT OUT produced by Deepak Nayar (lost Highway) and Bil Bungay (Moon).
