Biography

Phil Parker is a dual-citizen American/Aussie screenwriter based in Sydney. His screenwriting assignments include CATSAWAY, which is in production at Image Nation Abu Dhabi; FORTE, which attracted a six-figure investment based on Phil's first draft; FLY GIRLS, which has a BAFTA-winning producer attached; and KINDRED, which signed multiple shopping agreements. Phil also wrote the WWII spec script, THE THIRD BOMB, which has been optioned twice and reached the semi-finals of the Nicholl's and the finals of 12 other competitions.

Before becoming a screenwriter, Phil was a TV promo writer/ editor/ producer at the BBC in Australia. While there, he won a PromaxBDA Global Excellence Award for his work, beating out competition worldwide. Phil is an MA graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts who loves adventure, Bogie films, and jazz.
