Rebecca Robinson has been writing for over 25 years, first as a print journalist then as a novelist and screenwriter. She recently wrote and produced a short film, The Elementals, which is part of a longer feature film entitled CODENAME: MATILDA, an enthralling true life saga of the Nazi German obsession with the Bayeux Tapestry, a French national treasure that was nearly lost to Nazi wartime looting. Rebecca's interests range from Medieval English history to contemporary near-future life in a very different North America. During Covid she wrote and produced a feature-length podcast of her original story, Piercing Time. With an international cast and crew all working remotely, Rebecca created a riveting story/soundscape from 11th century England just after the Norman Conquest, based on the true history of her English ancestors.
