Ritchie “Stonian” Johnston is a UK-based screenwriter and novelist specializing in genre-blending stories with heart, humor, and a healthy dose of chaos. His work spans comedy, horror, dramedy, and sci-fi — often exploring flawed characters caught in bizarre or dangerous situations they’re wildly unqualified to handle.

Projects include the animated occult comedy Ralph Unleashes Hell, the emotionally raw dramedy F.M.L., the satirical sci-fi Disconnected, and the feature-length horror-comedy APEX (aka No One Makes It Out Alive). His debut novel, We Regret to Inform You That Rick Is Still Alive, expands his darkly comic universe into prose.

With a voice described as “Nick Hornby meets Charlie Brooker in a pub car park,” Johnston’s work mixes working-class wit with cinematic storytelling and cult appeal. He’s currently seeking representation and production partners who love genre with teeth.
