I retired from UPS after 34 years and began writing screenplays at the age of 53. My first full length screenplay "Movie Ushers" was converted into a 26 minute short film called "The Curtain Closes" and premiered at the Omaha Film Festival in 2013. Since that time I have written four additional screenplays and have submitted several to writing contests. My latest submission was a drama called "The Window" and was a finalist in the 2024 Winter Santa Barbara Screenwriting Contest. I continue to try and stretch my sphere of genres and have written in the categories of Comedy, Spiritual and the Super Natural.
