Previously named on Tracking Board’s 'Young & Hungry List,' I co-wrote the Lionsgate project "Escape the Field" with Jordan Claire Robbins, Theo Rossi and Shane West. Recently, I was hired to write a project for Stage 6 Films (a subsidiary of SONY). In addition, I have optioned my screenplay “A Chrismystery” to Spitfire Entertainment, my script "The Holiday Hunt" was optioned to Happy Accidents Media, my project "ALICE" was picked up by Silent D Pictures, and my screenplay "Plain Sight" was optioned by Director Mauro Borelli of Fotocomics. Also, a sitcom I co-wrote titled “Divorced by 30” was optioned by Global Genesis Group. I have also been hired to adapt graphic novels for Solipsist Films. _____ Sean Wathen grew up in Kentucky where he first began making short films with his friends. From there he moved to Orlando, Florida to attend film school and continued making short films including "Misunderstood" (Winner of Best Picture in the Project BlueLight Film Festival) and "CAN" (Official Selection of the London Sci-Fi Film Festival). Sean then journeyed to Hollywood and began working on hit TV shows like "Heroes," "24," and "House M.D." while pursuing his love of writing. After being an Office Coordinator with MTV and a Writer's Assistant for Director/Writer Michael Mann, Sean became a fulltime screenwriter.
