I'm an artist in the animation industry by day, screenwriter by night and weekends. I've lent my drawing skills to many of the big Disney animated movies in the 90s, Lion King, Hercules, Tarzan, to name a few. When not doing either of the above, I'm an avid, dedicated martial arts practitioner. 37 years of training/teaching and counting. Have delved deeply into many fighting styles, the past nine or so years in Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do. So yeah, fighting does make it into some of my scripts.
I shot super 8 movies as a kid, started writing short scripts and storyboarded my little productions, and wrote my first feature script in high school. After trying my hand at producing two micro-budget action features in the following years, the second of which made it to Netflix when Netflix mailed DVDs out to you, I returned to the world of animation for the upcoming Mary Poppins Returns and decided to hit the screenwriting dream all-out.
My Survival-Thriller script AMAZONS placed as a second-rounder in The Austin Film Festival, Quarter-Finalist in both The Finishline and Final Draft, and was a Finalist in The Page.
