Biography

S R Kui studied medicine in California and trained in Texas.   She came full circle to return to her first passion - writing.  She is extremely grateful to The ISA team for selecting her as The ISA's Top 25 Screenwriter to Watch in 2019. 

She and her sister hope to share their mother's story with the rest of the world and to honor the 2-3 million lives lost during the Cambodian Genocide. They have written for many of the world's biggest media sites including: The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Washington Post, Salon, The Independent, The Huffington Post...  The adapted screenplay has won 36 awards and the not yet released book has won 6 awards.  The book won 2nd place at ScreenCraft Cinematic Book Competition.

The book, screenplay, author bio, and supporting document are available upon request from approved Industry Professionals. Film and Television Rights are available for The Heart of a Tiger. They are seeking excellent representation for: the book, film rights, television rights, and for the adapted screenplay.
