Biography

I currently:

Am finally retired from the workforce after fantastic careers in the Zoo industry, the Railroad industry, and owning/operating several successful restaurants with my wife. These days my time is spent writing screenplays and self published novels.

After doing well with contest placements over the past few years, I currently have a Limited Series - Period Western about characters in the Yukon Gold Rush, portraying how their personalities changed when they found themselves isolated in a place and time without rules. All eight 1-hour episodes for season one are fully scripted and based on my set of five 'ICE and GOLD' novels (available on Amazon and Audible.)

My screenplay portfolio holds offerings in various genres that encompass: Dystopian / Action-Adventure / BioPic / Western / YA / Rom-com / Thriller / Sci-Fi and most recently a new Inter Racial Romance-Adventure, based on a true story from the wilds of Alaska. Of these, I've found that my true passion lies within the framework of the historical, non-fiction category, and I particularly enjoy bringing to life the stories of women who were strong and independent far ahead of their time.

I look at my age group of writers, as being the 'keepers of the historical'. Like the elders of any tribe you can name on every continent, it falls to us to retell the stories of our history to the younger generations so they are not forgotten, but will then continue to thrive in our collective psyche. This would include, not only the 'good', but the 'bad' pieces of our history; 'Those who do not remember are condemned to repeat.'
