Victoria Lucia is a queer biracial screenwriter/sometimes teacher/occasional actor hailing from the far-off land of Western Massachusetts. A graduate of Hampshire College, she majored in video production and screenwriting. Victoria is interested in exploring “otherness” in her work. She enjoys writing about characters that wouldn’t typically be seen as leads. Victoria’s scripts are often character-driven mashups of drama meets genre. She prides herself on crafting unique narratives and capturing moments of truth that speak to the essence of a script. Victoria is proud to have been lauded with support and recognition from various organizations, including the ISA, Stowe Story Labs, and SoCreate. Victoria’s work has been described as “bold,” “world-changing,” and “genre-defying.” Passionate about education, Victoria enjoys teaching introductory video production and screenwriting classes, writing blogs for SoCreate, and providing coverage for other writers.
