Wallaine Sarao holds a BA in English from SDSU and a MFA in Writing from USC. In 2009, PAST DUE won the Grandprize for the Cynosure Screenwriting Contest. In 2010, she optioned an hour-long pilot called PROTECTORS with FOX through the FOX Writers Initiative Program. In 2017, PAST DUE made her a finalist for the Blacklist Feature Writers Lab. She is a member of the PGA, and an associate member of the WGA. She is an active member of the Asian American Writers Committee.
